Known to the community as the "Health Shuttle," the Bayview Hunters Point Foundation Transportation Services provides FREE hourly fixed-route service to and from medical facilities, as well as between Bayview Hunters Point Foundation’s Integrated Behavioral Health Program and Substance Abuse Programs. The Health Shuttle is a collaborative endeavor supported by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and the San Francisco County Transportation Authority.
The need for transportation can pose a challenging dilemma for residents who need access and transport to immediate and ongoing health care and supportive services. Through the use of the Health Shuttle, individuals are transported safely and timely to a range of services and facilities throughout the Bayview Hunters Point community.
