Dimensions’ mission is to combine efforts across agencies to reduce the impact of substance abuse and addiction among Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, & Questioning (LGBTQIQ) Youth.

Every client enrolled is screened at the time of intake and monitored throughout the course of treatment for the need for primary care; psychiatric services; case management services; HIV and STD testing and counseling. Referrals can also be made for housing, employment, detoxification, legal, and social services.

The Dimensions Collaborative consists of the Castro-Mission Health Center (a part of SFDPH), Health Initiatives for Youth (HIFY), Lavender Youth Recreation and Information Center (LYRIC), and Larkin Street Youth Services.
