Transportation Services [contact] Community Shuttle Program The Bayview Hunters Point Foundation Community Shuttle Program, known to the community as “Ride Healthy,” provides free transportation services to the Bayview Hunters Point Community to and from Medical Facilities, Mental Health Facilities, Substance Abuse Programs and much more. The Community Shuttle started on March 27th 2008, our plan is to first provide ADA compliant fixed route service, with designated stops at predetermined location such as, Bayview Hunters Point YMCA, Bayview Hunters Point Adult Day Health Care Multipurpose Center, South East Health Center, Alice Griffin Housing Complex, Dr. Colman’s Medical Facility, San Francisco General Hospital, Bayview Hunters Point Foundation Mental Health and Substance Abuse Programs and a host of other local support centers within the community. Funding for this service was provided by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission & the San Francisco County Transportation Authority.
